Weddings

Your wedding day is one of the most exciting days of your life and a special one for your friends & family too. I like to capture the day organically, capturing the essence of the day as it unfolds. My style of photography is mostly documentary, I like to blend into the background, giving the images a contemporary, relaxed & natural feel.

My couples find it helpful to meet up prior to their wedding day so we can get to know each other & have a good chat about what you want from your photos. Where possible we will visit your chosen venue(s) so we can talk through any ideas you may have & so I can get a feel for the place beforehand – this helps me to come up with some creative ideas for photos on the day. It’s always lovely for me to meet you properly in advance (either with a cup of tea or a glass of something stronger!) as it means that you feel so much more comfortable in front of the camera on the big day!

With me, you’ll be getting so much more than just a photographer, I always find that I help to coordinate on the day, I’m usually a useful ‘middle woman’ between the bride & groom, & their other suppliers.  This allows you to relax & enjoy your time with each other & your guests without worrying about the timings & schedule.

Every wedding is unique, and so although I have a pricing structure as a guide, I am able to tailor my packages to suit your day.

I look forward to hearing from you and how we can capture your wedding.

FAQ

HOW DO WE BOOK YOU FOR OUR WEDDING DAY?

Send an enquiry or drop me an email at [email protected] to have a chat and I can run you through the booking process. I take a small deposit to secure the date, with remaining balance due a few weeks before the wedding day.

WHERE ARE YOU BASED AND DO YOU TRAVEL?

I am based in Sutton Coldfield in the Midlands but travel all over the UK.

WHEN WILL WE GET OUR PHOTOS?

I usually send over a handful of photos the day after the wedding via email, and post a few on my social media platforms. You will receive an online gallery with all your high res, edited photos around 6-8 weeks after the wedding date.

I HATE HAVING MY PHOTO TAKEN…

I don’t think I’ve ever done a shoot where my client hasn’t told me they hate having their photo taken. Don’t worry, I understand, I am often the same when someone takes my photo and usually default to pulling a daft face!

I’ve learnt how to make it as simple and as easygoing as possible, and something my couples always tell me is how relaxed they found shooting with me. We walk and talk, explore a couple of locations at a venue. Unlike some photographers, I don’t drag you off for hours. 15-20 mins during the drinks reception or golden hour is ideal. This means you get more time to mingle and party which are what wedding days are about, and gives me all the natural, real moments I want to capture! And if you’re really nervous, a pre-wedding shoot is a great shout for getting rid of any worries…
